The Turn of the Wheel is a series of eight seasonal gatherings hosted at the Upwey Wishing Well in collaboration with Ellie Brooks of Earth Kin Events. These events mark the natural thresholds of the year—moments of change, reflection, and celebration traditionally rooted in the rhythm of the land. More than just a meal, each gathering offers a gentle pause from the rush of everyday life, inviting you to gather for immersive spoken storytelling and a shared seasonal feast. From the quiet hope of mid-winter to the vibrant fire of summer, these events are neither religious nor instructional; they are simply human, welcoming, and designed to connect us to the cycle of the year through story and shared experience. Join us as we honor the turning seasons with warmth, community, and the finest local flavors.
